On September 21, BRS Chief Principal Wang Guangfa made a speech during the Faculty and Staff Meeting of Beijing Royal School on campus. Looking ahead to the new semester, Principal Wang shared his profound perspectives on BRS’s future direction on academic excellence, and he stressed several areas on which we should focus during the new semester:

Academic excellence is a strategic choice to improve the level of BRS’s education and a source for us to maintain innovative vitality. Based on this core positioning, our teachers should make better use of the school's cutting-edge resources and academic research platforms to enhance their professional growth.

The increasingly fierce social and international competition is both a challenge and an opportunity for our faculty and students. Therefore, we have to focus on cultivating a team of high-quality teachers. In addition to enhancing the knowledge structure of our teachers, we also focus on developing management skills, and hope that every teacher can keep pace with the ever-changing times and embrace a more challenging career development.

In the past few years of school-wide teaching reform, we have broken the traditional grade-level teaching barriers and made progress in curriculum integration for the benefit of our students. In the future, we will continue to invite experts and scholars from all sectors into the school to help expand the academic boundaries with our teachers.
